Dude, not necessarily. Especially European cut hatchchback as opposed to sedans we're used to in North America. We rented a series1 out of Athens airport and it was a fun ride. New with less than 16k kilometers (and still good tires) I put it through the paces, and it had a nice punch on acceleration / passing. Here, from the trip. It's not bad to look at imho.

I really like this YouTube poster. He's not wrong. Especially when you consider BMW have already passed the cost of inactivated car seat warmers on to the customer, as part of their business model. They're basically holding this added functionality hostage.
