Shoting your self in the foot in the longterm! Innovation and progress in every field will stop when kids their age leave. Resource you can't afford to lose, now he say's students will be left alone, but what about next year!? It's extremely damaging.... repeating the mistakes of the past again.

Your observation was pretty consise, men in fighting age can no longer leave Russia as of a few minutes ago. It's done ..... over! Then again, unlike the CCCP..... you can just walk into another country if you want, provided you a close to a border. Either way..... "i seek asylum" is the way to go from now on.....

i've had a think about it. i am of the firm belief that with the magnitude of sanctions the Western world has placed on Ruzzia the western world also has an obligation to take in ruzzian asylum seekers.

i get what you're saying but i think its way more complicated
in general. asylum seekers are coming from war torn countries. places/people being attacked by another country or government body. the russians are coming from a country thats the aggressor, even though its respectable they're leaving rather then fighting in the war. they won't be viewed the same, it will vary depending on the news of the day. like, today russians might have been greeted at the border with flowers but if the news tomorrow is two mass graves. they might be greeted with rocks
on the darker side of things, i was thinking that its probably better to let the russians flee but only to bordering countries. use them as a meat sheild of sort. if putin values russian life, he might not be willing to send rockets into those countries hosting asylum seekers
