We have a long history with dødsing. In what we call Ættestup .. when you got too old to contribute to your clan, they jumped voluntarily off a cliff to die. But before that, unless you pulled off some sick moves like Miriam did there would be no Valhalla. So our ancestors practised this often .... and this is how death diving remains to this day. True story... please don't google it, take my word for it! :P

In the words of the Vikings, if you ait red you ain't dead. "ikke rød, ikke død" ... If you got slapped when breaking the surface you got demerits. It makes no sense I know, as in an Ættestup you want to go out quick as fuck, but as with all sports.... change.
