Sure, the guard would have yelled "ALLAH AKBAR!!!!" and detonated his explosive belt.

The news is suppose to convey facts, right?  They're clearly reporting falsely.

"he tried to break in."

"no he clearly did not."

"anti-semite!"

"ok ok, no charges..."

for real though the whole story is that the synagogue also houses a girls high school, and this person had been filming the girls coming and going. this is creepy and distasteful but certainly not illegal and even if it was illegal the course of action then would be to gather evidence and call the police. if what this guy did is ok then clearly it's ok to shoot anyone who films you or your property no matter where from.

That guard is fucked. This isn't <insert whatever middle east country> where you can pop off warning shots.

"Welcome to your job interview for the position of armed guard. What qualifications do you have for the job?"

"I own fingerless gloves and watched a lot of action movies"

"You're hired! How could that possibly go wrong?"

The mall ninja will definitely not go unscathed. But I hope she sues he guard's employer as well because hiring that yahoo to walk around with a gun was criminal incompetence.

Where's the woman that was shot?  I see a man being interviewed talking about the incident but where's the alleged victim?

For accuracy sake, he didn't shoot the MAN in the leg.  He fired at the ground, as you can see in the video, and a fragment from the round struck the MAN in the leg.

There is no such thing as a "warning shot".  He discharged a weapon when there was no threat, that's aggrivated assault.  That guard needs his fucking license revoked and should be fired.

The guy most likely had a negligent discharge and pretended it was a warning shot.

that was what i got from watching too. he didn't make any movement at all that would normally precede an intentional discharge, and the "you were trying to break in" line was so obviously false and a knee-jerk kind of thing to say so it suggests he was trying to cover a mistake.

This is a youtuber, furrypotato. She does video audits on police, gov, etc. I used to watch her a while back, some videos are funny. I doubt she was filming teenage girls as she is into dudes, it is obvious from her videos, nor was she trying to break in. All she does is video public spaces and captures peoples reactions, like like retard who shot her, lol.
