Yeah they're scared of the competition.
Huawei's stuff is really cheap. Just yesterday my 7 year old nephew got a 130€ phone. All the bells and whistles you could want. Dual camera, plenty of memory, fingerprint reader and a big screen. Pretty much all the things a 1000$ Iphone has.

Xaomi is a good value brand, they sell at cost apparently. I'm gonna buy a Mate 20 Pro today to replace my Galaxy S5. It'll be my first brand new phone.

The camera is supposed to be pretty badass on that thing. Don't know how it performs in practice with all that AI wizardry combining 3 cameras worth of pixels.

Yeah Xaomi make really good phones for low & mid-tier budget. I mentioned the Mate 20 just because I'm stoked to get a good phone, I don't know much about Huawei's cheaper models. They're for plebs ;p
