A man who fought for some of the wrong reasons, but surrendered for the right reasons.
Tearing down his statues to hold a demographic of people above the individual is fascist for one.
Second, the reason statues of these people were built was to help bind the nation together, and recognize honourable men on both sides based less on the war they were fighting and more on their merits and courage.
I oppose tearing down these monuments entirely, and if Trump overturns he should have them put back up to preserve our history.
Erasing history is authortarian through and through.
I condemn it.

well. they lost the war 155 years ago and were still hearing about how the south shall rise again along with all the other southern rhetorics from back then. maybe if we take down these statues of losers, they wont feel like losers anymore.

So why wouldn't you support Trump? He has been the greatest cataylst of positive change in decades. If wasn't for Covid, the U.S. would have a sound economic recovery underway. Most anti establishment anti fascist president wev'e had since Kennedy.

i look at the last 4 years as something thats not working properly, look at the jobs lost from his tarif wars, but just in the last year it's been a dumpster fire. its ending with pardons to blackwater murderers, his daughters father in law and stuff like that.
he's doing more damage to the gop and its fan base then any democrate could have done.

Right before covid we had a HISTORIC LOW unemployment rate. 2 points below the rate that Obama claimed was even possible.
We were on the verge of tipping point in China gaining supreme economic power. Now their economy is falling apart. Chinas investment policies meant that your money couldn't be cashed out unless you spend it in China.
If a nation hoardes, and doesn't recirculate, it strangles the world under econmic tyranny, which would FORCE war as the only option to get our investments back. It a much more peaceful option to lay the tarrifs on thick. This strategy if applied long enough, is to squeeze their economy to the point that they need to sell the gold and raw materials they have hoarded to remain solvent. Once that happens, balance is restored.
I agree with pardons, there need to more on the list. Assange, and Snowden in particular.
Just for fun, because I have been thinking about this. Space Force. That may be one of the most important branches of the military today and into the future.
I imagine they exist to destroy enemy sattelites and to detect and counter attacks on ours, which destroys any advantage china or russia will have in conflict.
