jeez. times must be tough to be complaining about this
for something that's 23,000 degrees, it doesn't matter if its inside of you or a foot away from your face
everything in the room including the wielder, would burst into flames the moment it's turned on and more realistically, the whole planet would also be destroyed. anakin and luke both lost hands, their clothing didn't catch fire. their arms didn't turn to ash because of the heat transfer radiating out from the stump. more than likely, lightsaber don't burn, they absorb but i guess you could make the case if your paid to pander to the right that its because it's a female character oriented tv show
