Weird Thing on the Beach

Were we walking along Long Beach, BC, Canada, September 8, 2018, when we came across a weird thing. It wasn't the weirdest thing ever, but it was weird... at least weird for being on the beach. Just like how a toothbrush isn't weird, but a toothbrush glued to the side of the Eiffel Tower would be weird. Have you seen anything like this? This is a first for me, and I've been visiting long beach since 1971 or so.

I once saw someone's front door floating under me while surfing near Long Beach, California during one of the El Ninos of the 90's. The ocean is amazing.
