Next the US imposes unilateral sanctions in about 90 days.

Iran is going to negotiate with EU/China/Russia for 2-3 weeks. The negotiations will be based on 2 scenarios:

  • Keep the JCPOA but keep trade with Iran at acceptable levels (counter-pressure on US)
  • Scrap the JCPOA
    • Iran boosts uranium enrichment to fuck with everybody & keep oil prices up in the markets that will buy it (China+India buy about 2/3 of Iran's oil exports)
    • Iran & US are now in economic war. Iran will implement a "resistance economy" strategy.

Is this actually real? This is really real? Didn't Iran say they were pulling out of the nuclear deal regardless of what Trump or congress do? Or was that fake news? What about that weird Israel Alex Jones video where they talked about the Iranian conspiracy? Wait was that fake news?

One thing's for sure - we wouldn't want the US to play politics with its national security. Holy fucking shit we've fully entered retard land and are staying for good. Good to know.

The "national security" of the US is not at stake. Iran has a strictly defensive military doctrine & has never been interested in WMDs. The Americans stationed in Syria are pawns though. Things may get messy for those guys.

To give you some perspective on US "national security", checkout this meme from a while ago...

I think Obama let himself get seriously rolled with that Iran deal, but I also do not think Iran poses a threat to anyone, including Isreal. If they attacked Isreal, Isreal would nuke them. But, that seems like a pretty good incentive to develop your own nuke weapons. Given the unambiguous threat they face, why do you think Iran has no interest in WMDs?

The JCPO is stupid anyway. Iran has every legal right to develop nuclear tech for energy & research purposes - they're an NPT signatory.

It's hard to prove a negative but I'll try....

The US intel community (every branch) concluded that Iran is not building nukes in 2007 & 2011. Iran was enriching more uranium than they needed with the aim of releiving sanctions. They'll probably go back to this tactic. It's a subtle troll to force the hand of the West to change to a more respectful stance.

If Iran started developing nukes, or owned them, their economy would get rekt with sanctions like NK.

Iran's stance is defensive. Every Western military analyst I've seen speak on it has said as much. You just have to study their military tech, their history on the world stage etc. Every statement they've made about war is defensive... "if we are attacked blah blah".

They've kept a reasonably anti-American stance because of 40 years of sanctions, passenger airlines being shot down by US Navy etc & to appease the hard-liners & to keep the troops on their toes in case they need to be called up. The "Death to America" thing is actually "down with America" & it's about not becoming slaves of the US. Their leader interprets it as "death to the U.S.'s policies, death to arrogance" [link].

Iran already has M.A.D. with Israel. Study the 2006 war....

The only threat that Iran poses is to the US/Israel/Saudi's plan to dominate the region.

If the EU sides with Iran that will more than likely anger Saudi Arabia, pushing them closer to the US. Which would be fine in my book as most of the lone wolf terrorists in Europe have been wahhabists in one way or another. Saudi influenced people in other words and a cold war between Iran(and EU) and Saudi Arabia(and US) might put a stop to the Saudi ability to send their more extreme clergymen here. However I somehow doubt the EU is strong enough yet to go to an actual cold war unless we also move closer to Russia and China. Now China has made a lot of investments in Europe in the past few years and despite the Ukraine sanctions business has continued with Russia so it might be that the world almost as a whole is ready to move beyond a polar world of US hegemony. Or something.
