They had an election last year & most of the opposition boycotted it. Asking for elections is a half-assed way of kowtowing to Washington.

Ha. I don't think that's the plan. The Euromaidan option was the go but it seems to have fizzled. No idea what's next but with Bolton & Trump in office it's likely to fail.
