Traffic Stop Police Shooting

Heart-stopping moment officer is shot by man pulled over for speeding

This situation is where a tazer was inadequate and the shooter should have been clubbed until unconsciousness. After watching this, I understand why police shoot people like this guy. He will actually be out of jail eventually when he should be dead.

A routine traffic stop in Pennsylvania resulted in a gunfight on the side of the road that nearly killed one of the officers. Police pulled Daniel Clary over for speeding and attempted to arrest him when it appeared that he was impaired.

I thought so. The criminal's family and BLM leaders have called Clary "A good boy who made a bad decision."

I see alot of bumbling around, waiting, and dramatically ineffective actions taken by both officers.

The short guy is incompetent, and apparently has mental blockage.

& The big guy can't move worth a damn.

I watched this yesterday.  Those troopers can't shoot for shit.  And the fact that the guy was black lead to them not acting sooner and giving the guy a chance to get to a firearm.

It's the new catch 22: if you insist on less-lethal when letal is an option, you may die. If you use lethal, you're an evil, white supremacist, racist and your family will be relentlessly harassed when your information is released to the media for the sake of transparency.

I think it would have been justuified to warn and then fire as soon as he reached into the car.

Also I always laugh at the idiotic shit show they do when they suspect someone driving under the influence.

I remember reading not long ago in an FBI study they found on average officers accuracy usually goes below 15% when under fire, while a criminals generally stays the same. This was because the police are a reactionay force, while the criminal has made the conscious decision to use his gun.   Its the primary reason they all stopped carrying revolvers.   >15% accuracy + 6 rounds, means a solid chance you never hit them.  In the study they also recommended 40 or 9mm for additional rounds.

The trooper that had a Lethal Weapon pointed at the suspect at the moment he should have been shot was blocked by his partner who was standing in the field of fire.
