Thats great. Pretty sure some kind of bacteria / small critters like these are the solution for our plastic problem.

Part of the solution, there is still a finite amount of resources unless alternatives are found there as well.

Yeah. An actual solution would be to have something that degrades naturally or starts to degrade when we want it to.
We already have plenty of alternatives, but very few implement them because plastic is cheap and readily available.
