Lots of Redshirts die on a weekly basis on USS Enterprise so I guess we'll just have to wait and see how the demographics line up there too before jumping to any conclusions or making snap judgements. I'm cautiously optimistic there will be fair representation.

Agreed. I like the Christopher Pike character and actor. Fingers crossed that the combination of him and good writers the show will be solid.

This looks promising. Discovery was a disaster, for me at least, I ended up speed watching the end of Season 1 and never started Season 2.

Ah..well. You've kind of got a problem then. Pike was one of the best things about season 2..maybe the only good thing. So maybe fast forward that one to get to his episodes also.
