The entire "justice" system is a complete farce, so who cares who he pardons. A pedophile gets 2.5 years for raping his 5 yr old daughter. A finacial advisor gets 6 months house arresst for stealing $300k from elderly clients. Oil companies face no charges for destroying whole ecosystems. Bidens become millionairs by using their office and no investigations. Shillary gets to destroy records and nothing happens.

People now only see all his friends getting pardoned, but historians will see him pardoning other people directly affected by the previous actions of his successor, which involved authoring the crime bill. Something which had a vastly larger impact on the entire population of African Americans in the United States than any singular incident in modern history.
For historians are not vague, and despite the passing of time and censorship they eventually get the truth right because they know events aren't recorded accurately by the media, but by the people whom were directly affected by them and survived.
