True that, mate. But when Christianity rolled in you'll remember that the Greeks copied the Jews in that Orthodox priests to this day marry and have children. On the plus side, any sex scandals are limited to actual, grown-up women.

spent june looking into ancient greece/persia/rome, they were so similar because for 300 years prior to theses wars. rome(the roman kingdom and republic) had been adopting greek culture, philosophy, religion, art, and politics either directly from greece or the heavily greek influanced etruscans.

Yup. And to this day the pretty blue blanet in the solar system is called Venus..and not Aphrodite.  Don't even get me started on Jupiter/Zeus, haha.
