It ranges from those who became addicted to the rush and have withdrawal, cannot stand regular life where you don't kill people (as the Weirdo says), to those who have no real idea what warfare is because their perception of reality is seriously flawed.
That's why, having family in special forces, I know that if they bring the excuse here (war on domestic terror) there will be plenty of dudes happy - yes eager - to kill for one side or the other. It will be 5th generational but I don't know if folks realize how 4th generational it will be as well. It will be kinetic - it will become dangerous to live a rural life, which I will welcome as it will "encourage" the type of person I can't stand to get their ass back to the city.
