Is your dog trained to bite people too? Do you beat your dog if it doesnt obey your commands instantly?

yes but i had dogs my entire life i know how to handle them, i even had a day job in an animal shelter got bitten once when i forcefully grabbed a dog who attacked another one, i know that was my fault.
But if the dog who i take care of treat good, feed, and have to trust with my family attacks me because something in his head snaps, i will kill him, just as i would a human, ppl attack for reasons to support their habbit, no mercy for them either, i would feel sorry for them, but first think about yourself and family, if the dog does it again later, and bites your nose off, or a burglar comes back to finish the job, there you stand, sometimes crazy is just plain crazy, could be something small like not giving them enough food, or turning them in to the cops, for them to retaliate

I have commented a lot on the extremely bad training american police dogs receive.
Generally punishment based "training" will get you that kind of results (with dogs that are prone to these kind of reactions).
He probably just did what was probably common practice only some 20-25 years ago but nobody bothered to talk about it. In any case this was probably better for the dog than making it suffer their whole life under a "master" like the village idiot that posted this.
