Worked in a restaurant for a few years in college and did a little bartending in one for a few years afterwards. Very upscale places too. After watching handfuls of salt added, dropped food, unsanitary conditions in what you would expect to be clean kitchens, added ingredients that are scary, all kinds shortcuts, and a lot more, I rarely eat at restaurants. I trust my own cooking. You can't trust them. Places you think are clean often aren't. It's a money-making business. It's about making money. Period.
The worker abuse? The shitbum manager needs to be found face-down in a puddle.
