Going to be interesting to see where this goes (if it does at all).

i think this won't work but this guy's attempt at debunking is abysmal.

the things he takes aim at aren't fundamental. take the "full of rust" argument. is he saying that couldn't possibly fixed? that this prototype isn't just a testing facility but the final product? just stupid. in the same way ok the missile didn't get a perfect release. so? the first test firing wasn't perfect, therefore it's debunked? completely thoughtless.

can anyone find any actual debunking in this?

personally i think the problem they'll have is with the counterweight. while spinning up the system will be balaned, then the instant the missile is released, the counterbalance is suddenly not countering anything and will rip the thing apart.

When I watched the video I had similar thoughts, what is he actually debunking. I think it is the hype over an achievement that does not really exist. Neither the vacuum nor the rotation speed were anywhere close to the real thing required for justifying them to make such a big deal out of it. He even says that it may possibly work.

I think this is why he compares it to the dead ducks that are theranos and hyperloop.

If you want the money you make a big deal!

I dont know if it will work, my thoughts it probably wont, who knows, Im sure there were alot of people saying the same when the first missles were tested and watching them fail over and over again. How long did it take to fly? How many 100's of years passed before the first success?
