БЕНЗИН из ПЛАСТИКА. ENG SUB.

How  much energy it takes to make that fuel?

If it takes 1000w to make 1000W it's shit.

If it's less...

1000W to make 1000W could still be hugely beneficial, it depends. Electricity to fuel is usually worth it because fuel can be transported which electricity can't do. It would also be beneficial if the conversion fuel source was free, say if the conversion could be done by putting it under a magnifying glass in the sun because you'd be using 2 kinds of waste to produce useful fuel.

Are there ways for him to refine it into a better grade?

well refining wouldn't turn it *into* a better grade, but refining in a fractioning column would enable the higher quality stuff to be removed, leaving the lower quality stuff behind. the question would be how much of the higher quality stuff there'd be after doing that, and just how much higher quality. my guess is not enough to be worth it, since plastic is made with lower-grade petrochecmicals in the first place.

I said Watt, but I was referring to energy. The amount of energy it takes, man. Like if it takes 1 gallon of petrol to convert plastic into 1 gallon of dirty petrol, you ain't saving the planet.

If it takes less, that dude just found a way to recycle old plastic.

Would it be possible to use a kiln and wood fire to convert the fuel?

Similiar to burning tires:  a recent massive tire mountain near here caught fire and was almost  impossible to fight, partially because of all the crude oil that was generated and flowed out of the landfill.  Made me wonder if this could lead to a better use of old tires than shredding for recycling (?)
