The classic news report about the party or rave a Michigan kid threw where 2,000 kids showed up. 5 years old now but I remember it well because when he pointed to the passed out kid at :34 and said "I didn't make this kid pass out on my floor" and the camera panned over to him I lost it. They should do an update on the kid who threw the party.

Threw a party at the end of my U of Michigan run at "the funhouse" and it was massive. The owner showed up and screamed he was keeping the security deposit. I announced we might have to turn off the switch to the bash. A "before GoFundMe" GoFundMe formed instantly and we opened the whole place up. Everything we owned was destroyed and the house was damaged. From the plates to the cheap legendary hot tub right down to the lamps. Sexual assault? This was before the PC era and it was called speed dating. Girls were sliding down a soaped tarp with a runnng hose into the front yard in their underwear.
We had maybe 1,000 people there-not like this guy's bash but still. I went back 5 years later and paid the owner $4K. It just seemed right. He was happy and admitted we had the biggest bash in the history of off-campus housing. I asked him why he didn't call the cops and he said he just thought it looked like too much fun. This kid's family either owned the place or he's not getting his security deposit back.
