How good is this? What would you compare it to? I've been wanting to start but don't want to commit if it's so-so.

Well intensity wise it is up there with BB most of the time, but it is not a simple copy, it is about a greedy couple getting into something well over their heads.

The Picture quality is up there with Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, True Detective S1, Better Call Saul, The Wire, The Sapranos, and any other good show we had in the last 10-15years

What did you think how it would end? I had no idea what to think really. Of course, I guess like many, I was rooting for Marty a bit but during the last season I thought Ruth deserved a bit of happiness too. But the series was full of twists and turns so I found it impossible to predict.
When the detective stood outside on the terrace I expected the kid to shoot him (That look on Marty's face during the last scene was something else too).
And I must say I LOVED Johnboy as the bad, righteous grandpa! But the whole series was filled with excellent actors!
