William Binney's expertise is beyond question, although you can chip away at him I suppose from the angle that he resigned in 2001 after 30 years with the NSA. He resigned over how 9/11 was being exploited to justify limitless surveillance of all Americans (and citizens in many other countries, including allies). Binney was one of several former intelligence officials who warned that Dick Cheney and his crew were nicknamed "the crazies" by the very best, many of whom resigned in disgust following 9/11.

Rachel Maddow and journalism have very little conection. It's the pretense she uses on her show to spew her partisan nonsense that so many people tune into. There's nothing wrong with making money, her viewers are the real waste of skin IMO.
