Well, Mitch will still support every GOP candidate regardless but at least he admits reality. His comment that "January 6th was a violent insurrection for the purpose of trying to prevent the peaceful transfer of power after a legitimately certified election from one administration to the next." was a simple statement of fact. Sadly most of the GOP has denied that fact. It caused an uproar among GOP cult freaks of course who insist the election was rigged and the January 6th insurrection was made up of tourists, BLM/Antifa dressed as Trump supporters, etc, etc.
Kevin McCarthey ran from reporters who asked him if January 6th was "Legitimate Political Discourse", a completely assinine assertion by the Republican National Committee.
