Well it could be the only way to stop crime, ppl getting ripped off right now, 50 euro for a gram straight in the criminals pocket, now they could tax it, and provide safe drugs like heroin where you don't OD on, 100 percent consistency, junkies use it anyway if you can get taxes of it and prevent them from death and stop the criminals = battle won half way.

You've almost figured out that laws are the source of crime. Very good.

However, with this all the government is doing is taking money out of dealers pockets and filling their own. Which of course they'll continue to embezzle and misappropriate. It's not going to things that will help you. Health care isn't going to get better, Education isn't going to get better. Cities aren't going to get cleaner, homelessness isn't going to be solved, homeownership isn't going to be expanded, community isn't going to be strengthened.

See, if it was about undoing laws that should have never existed then they would allow free enterprise for everybody to have a commodities business, and just punish purveyors that sell unsafe products. But no, a few select friends of gov will make a fortune cause they will be the only ones permitted to distribute, and the drugs may or may not be safe at all. But they'll tell you it's safe. They have a reputation to maintain above all else.

Addiction is also going to skyrocket and our population will become weaker still, rehabilitation will barely be supported comparatively. If people aren't buying, then they aren't paying.

See the funny thing is since we have legalized weed, there are still tons of dealers out there raking it in. Legalization didn't stop illicit distribution at all. You can still get quality just as good and cheaper off your phone than from a shop. It's just about gov and friends making cash from addiction while leaving society to rot.
