There is still a video rental store in my neighbor city. Seems to be thriving, I always see people in there when I drive by. I know a few people who still go there, they are all over 60 and dont want to use the internet.

I feel like we have lost a certain experience with losing rentals. I have many fond memories of rounding up the gang on friday nights checking out the coolest movies we were too broke to see in theatre.
Gathering around the cooler talking about netflix just doesn't feel the same.
Got to play so many SNES and N64 games when I was a kid, most Im glad I only rented lol.
