Vocal fry and monotone delivery. They nailed it if they were going for an uninteresting robot voice thats really annoying

Yes. 'Vocal fry', that's the term I was trying to remember. They say it's an American phenomenon especially with females of GenY and Z. Darn annoying if you ask me.

I never really noticed it till I watched some guy explain it and give examples. Now I can't unhear it and it is annoying.
Was thinking I'm glad we don't have it in Finnish language, but turns out we use it constantly, just never noticed because it so ingrained in our language. If you don't have vocal fry you actually sound less fluent in Finnish.
