I (PERSONALLY) believe that all indigenous people have not only a right, but a responsibility to protect the natural resources and balances of the lands of their ancestors. I do not believe this from a political or nationalist view - I believe the Planet herself is fond of the people who settled into her treasure troves and learned to live with her riches reasonably and respectfully. Beyond that I DO NOT believe we are kind to each other as humans anymore and our politics, countries, sexes, races, religions, and cultural beliefs make us fight against each other as being somehow more rightful over each other. This PLANET needs us to STOP killing each other in body and in spirit and turn our selfish attentions TO HER and ALL HER SUFFERING REGIONS and SPECIES. We have to learn to respect each other and stop being so entitled and just BE MORE RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALLY! Nobody really speaks for the air, water, earth, animals, plants - and now our space atmosphere. Hawaii knows that if Goddess Pele speaks in an angered tone - none will have time for another opinion. But such is the same for Vesuvius, the Lines of San Adreas, The Yellowstone Caldera... The Kutiah, The Bering, and the Lambert-Fisher Glaciers are melting... I am a person - I was made from the elements of this land and I need the elements ALL working for humankind to not only survive but to live the happy, healthy lives WE CAN ALL HAVE ACCESS TO - IF WE would only CARE and SHARE this land alike. I should like to see the Amazon tell some raindrops not to fall there because they belong in North America. It's hard. I DO CARE SO MUCH about people's culture and nationalities and religions. All these diversities are amazing additions to the already incredible human experience. But instead taking it like we are all just different types of flowers from the SAME GARDENER... so many of us feel and act like a completely foreign species to each other - JUST because of shading or birth proximity. There are species and cultures I will never get to see because hate and greed already wiped them out, And now, there are SO MANY PLACES where I can't live because I'm not wanted there and I can't visit comfortably because there is animosity about my visit. And NONE of this is my fault. I just want to see as much of this amazing earth as I can before I die and drink in as many different flavors of humans and animals as I can while they are alive and walking. We can't lose what's left trying to protect it. We have to find a way to have REAL RESPECT for this WHOLE GLOBE and EVERY CULTURE and SPECIES that calls her home. I wads born in America so that makes me an American. Ok, very proud but not more proud than any other nation should be. I care about America - but I care that Hawaii was stolen like Texas and California too. I care about the EARTH and HER INHABITANTS... not about the politics and the lines people drew on maps to call their own. TELL THE WINDS THAT! WE just have to do better to PROTECT OUR WHOLE HOME and ALL of the creatures that HAVE NO PLACE ELSE TO CALL HOME!

Sut up. You chose to live in a limited space all year round holiday resort, of course all kinds of people are there and the extemes are amplified, epecially opportunists, addicts, low lives and of course romatics.....
Same happens here only that many foreigners brought their xenophobia and prejudices with them and direct them at the locals whilst not even being able to order a coffee in spanish, never mind the local language.

The thing thats refreshing about Hawaii is that racism against whites is openly accepted. I cant get my haircut at certain places or surf at some beaches because its "locals only" #feelsgoodman
