Huawei's OS

How Huawei's OS might REPLACE Android.

The mobile phone market will be revolutionised if Huawei's OS is successful.

The US may be about to learn that weaponising "national security concerns" can cause major blowback.

"Weaponising "national security concerns" can cause major blowback."?  Like when Google, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, literally every leftwing legacy media company and European governments weaponize the completely bullshit term "hate speech" to censor people?

Maybe they're as bad as the US spy agencies say.  Maybe they're not.  Honestly, I don't know if I can even believe what those fuckers claim anymore after what they did during the 2016 election.

All that aside.  Google is too fucking powerfull and deserves to get it's ass kicked sooner rather than later.  And if US politicans are too afraid to do it with regulations then having a Chinese Communist company drop a haymaker on their market share is the next best thing maybe.

Yeah Google is too powerful for sure. Even as nothing more than a search engine they have an unhealthy monopoly.

As for the "hate speech" stuff, it's being pushed by the ADL as much as anyone [link] [link]

Personally I'm more bothered by things like the 5,000 Twitter accounts that were banned today on suspicion of being "Iranian troll accounts". This is probably more related to the "Russia hacked the US election" bullshit...now they can claim people are trolls and just purge them from the web, likely with use of algorithms. Silicon Valley & the US govt have WAY too much control of online discourse.

Agree on Google being too much of a monopoly.

Couldn't give a shit who Twitter kicks off their site.  Jack Dorsey and Twitter need to burn.
