I watched the entire thing yesterday and i can tell you that Sony is bumping off Microsoft off the gaming market with the PS5 the thing is revolutionary, if games are using the full specs and loading ability's of the PS5, Xbox will not be able to run those games, meaning the console war is pretty much over, Sony wins.
And then you say il build a powerfull pc to match it, the architecture is not being sold yet for pc users, and it would cost an arm and a leg IF it comes out, Sony dominates the market with innovation and hardware.

there wont be a need for a PS6 or next gen xbox console because its all seems to be going to the cloud..unless Sony moves there Amazon Microsoft and Google will be the only players..Sony may win the console war with Microsoft but i think Microsoft will be the only ones standing in gaming between the two of them in 20 years..

the gaming market at present is mostly usa europe china korea and japan..all those countries, the main market today will have very fast internet..look at the leap from 20 years ago to today, in another 20 there will be no need for consoles..

compare the ps5 to other consoles. its got no chance up against a pc. there are better pc components on the market right now than you'll find in the ps5. and when the ps5 gets released, those components will be cheaper, and better parts will be on the market also.

Nothing comes close to the PS5 hardrive loading capabillity 100 times faster then a regular SSD If they design games for that and sony keeps the hardware just for Playstations we will have many games that won't be compatible with PC xbox and certainly not cloud gaming.
Compared to the PS5 the new Xbox looks like a wii

didnt have to watch the video. ps5' specs have been out for a while. they even got a wiki page.
zen 2 architecture with 8 cores. they got better on the market right now. 12 cores or more. pretty sure video cards are on the market right now that stand up to the planned rdna2 gpu. the only thing they can say they got is the ssd thing and that only deals with loading. just remeber that pc users can swap out just about everything for something better, meanwhile whatever is in the ps5 stays.
you can't compare consoles to pcs, remember they make the video games on pcs and then make them shittier so they can run on a console.

In 20 years the bandwith to run the games of the future on cloud will be so high they need fibernet everywhere in the world so don't count on it.

And if you watched the entire thing you would see that PC's would have to undergo significant changes to match the PS5
And why are you talking about PC having more cores.. you know that makes no flying fuck difference if your Hz is not used, a high Hz 8 core is better for games then a lower 16 or 32, and the architecture of the PS5 is superior when you look at the details described in the video, but you din't watch it..
the bang for the buck is unmatched, and we don't know what sony will do with it's patented architecture

Unfortunately, designers who want to sell their games will again design for the Xbox, and port to the PS5 and maybe the PC. That way they have the majority of potential buyers. I don't want this to happen, but it's the more likely scenario.
With the graphics development of PS5 games targeted at under a month, they might hope that they get an easy conversion from the DirectX Microsoft development.
I'm really interested in the 3D audio because I really liked what Creative and Aureal was doing 20 years ago before onboard chips and audio development changed. More standards and less licensing is good for development, imo.

Unfortunately, no one but first-party devs will fully take advantage of PS5's setup, and Sony exclusives suck caaak. As has been the case for awhile, I think a strong gaming PC and a Nintendo console (if you're into their games) is the best way to go.
