Trump would never be part of a press conference where a reporter asked his counterpart why he was even bothering having relations with a nation with such a poor human rights record, despite all the war crime the US commits, the civilians it's killing around the world right now with sanctions, the state of the prisons in the US, the drug abuse, poverty, lack of health care etc.
The question was unprofessional & rude. She deserved that response.

As someone who speaks Chinese, has been to China multiple times, has Chinese relatives, has done business in China, and speaks often with members of the Chinese diaspora, I can confidently say that this man is talking out of his ass and knows he is doing so as he does it.
