Either the party owes Biden and he really is their top man (after Hillary Clinton, of course), or he owes the party and is going down with a sinking ship that he served on all these years & was first mate of.
- Biden keeps fumbling (as he's meant to), then a couple weeks before the election he concedes with "It's for the good of the Nation, because the Right-Wingers have become too much of a threat to him & the party". Eventhough they are the ones looting, burning and trying to dismantle America from within using their Socialist and Communist tactics/agendas.
- They'll try to shape and justify their rabid actions over the last few years as just reaction to the norm-holding Republicans/Conservatives/Law Enforcement. "We was just looking for them Nazi's, Remember Charlottesville? It means America still has flaws, it needs to be cleansed", and "Fucking NORMIES !!!!, REEEEEEE!!!!!!"

My take on that debate: Trump's strategy was obviously to interrupt and try to talk out of turn over Biden as much as possible to destabilize Biden, keep him from making his points and distract from them and keep the spotlight on himself. That has pretty much set the tone for the entire "debate" and it was an abolute shit show.
The sad thing is that keeping the spotlight on yourself regardless of whether it is for good or bad reasons appears to be a viable strategy that Trump excels at.
As long as Trump is involved, I don't think we'll ever see a proper debate unless the microphones are automatically switched off/on when the time to speak is passed over to the other candidate.
