Why don't you guy's use - adblock plus -, you just install it no need to fiddle around and every ad blocked.

Ublock Origin has much better performance and you can block single elements on any website. Furthermore, Adblock Plus has had some controversies about allowing selected ads. Ublock functions just fine with a simple installation, though you can also install different filters that fit your needs. But i think it isnt available on Chrome (Google likes ads)? Until last year i also had a Pi-Hole running (endgame adblocking :D)... but my raspberry died.
