Erdowanker cant run a 3rd time unless the country's constitution gets amended (curious since this didn't stop him last time) so he's just jailed his political rival, the mayor of Istanbul, the only real threat to his power. The country now sliding further into autocratic rule. Canada's CBC reporting, but hardly a peep on American media. So what's up with that.

Whats up with that? If i may have a guess there is
1. so much turmoil going on they have their own problems, and
2. this is by design because rumour has it that "agenda 25" is working on a similar plan.

Dunno about no.2. As for the first part it's got neighboring countries concerned. Along with the injustice to what appears to be a good man; Imamoglou can be held without bail for up to 2yrs while the state build their case, it's an historical fact that whenever Erdogan wants to turn attention away from his internal mess he starts behaving badly, internationally. Still not liking USA's silence on this.

trump wants to be where erdogan, putin and kim are.
Americans are not interested in foreign affairs, their eggs cost a dollar a piece.
erdogan shitting all over his country has been going on for years, he even managed to gather support from german football players with turkish roots.
