This is great press announcement. Especially in comparison to the US leadership... though not hard to look better.
The reason I beleive it's great:
1. Supporting Canadian multiculturalism
2. Supporting Covid guidelines
3. Empathizes with Muslims who are making sacrafices in typical religious practices to support Covid guidelines
4. Show direction - basically softly suggesting (Canadian style) the expected course of action on how to celebrate during Covid
