Europe Prefers To Freeze Than Pay Russia for Gas in Rubles

Who's winning?

 

 

One thing to note: Russia never said that payment for gas in rubles will start Mar 31st.

Putin's asked Gazprom, govt & central bank for a proposal for how it's gonna work, due tomorrow and then it'll be made public.

Well, the kreml backpaddled yesterday, Germany will not be cut off and will keep on paying in Euros for the time being.

 

But hey, their actions are going to be more erratic as this all progresses.
