Watched it last weekend. It was ok. There's so many shit movies these days, so I guess that elevates it to "great"?

Is it possible we're so hungry for anything remotely resembling quality entertainment that our standards have diminished?..sure.
I like Fassbender's performances usually so I'll probably check this one out in cinema. Can't wait for Dune part 2 though. On the big screen? That'll be epic.

I find my self watching a lot of 90's and early 2000's movies that I haven't seen in a while. At least then I know I'm getting something of quality.
I hate it when I waste my free time on shit movies. I watched The Creator just now. Was duped by the relatively high score of 7 on IMDB. Very nice looking movie and good atmosphere but goddamn, totally soulless and formulaic with bad one-dimensional characters. Just watch the trailer and you've seen it.
