Islam doesn't promote violence or peace. Islam is just a religion and like every religion in the world it depends on what you bring to it. If you're a violent person, your Islam, your Judaism, your Christianity, your Hinduism is gonna be violent. There are marauding Buddhist monks in Myanmar slaughtering women and children. Does Buddhism promote violence? Of course not. People are violent or peaceful and that depends on their politics, their social world, the ways that they see their communities.

I challenge you to show us where the atheist "holy book" of instructions is, all these militant (or radical) atheists are working to.
Rather than giving generic numbers, show us the "atheist killings", that are taking place these days in order to spread the word.
Where are the athesit terror groups strapping belts of explosives to their kids in order to blow up "fidels"?
Which atheist cell encourages members to drive trucks into crowds, planes into skyscrapers or kill cartoonists?
Where is the "atheist child molesting ring"?
Which atheist cult encourages to mutilate children's and women's genitals?
Which atheist sect did Breivik belong to and why did they not send message commiting to him doing this for their cause?
I would be VERY HAPPY to voice my opinion about such groups and actively help in their eradication. If I would see any radical activity or suspicions of child molestation in "my" atheist church (and please tell me where that is, I live in Mallorca) I would happily report them to the authorities.
