Is this finally a tesla I would be tempted to buy? Don't know. It is still a prototype and, in any case, it is too big for european roads. Maybe if a more down to earth, smaller truck comes out.
Sorry about the promotional video, wonder how much he got paid for this......

Can't decide if its fucking ugly or actually pretty nice looking

I find the looks interesting, if it really comes out now the first buyers will have an instant classic.
I am a bit worried about practicality and very worried about size. Where I live a Hilux is already too big for a dayly driver.
The obsession with accelleration and "power" makes this a video for the fanboys, though, We'll have to wait for Doug to make real world review....

The big problem i have is if the thing bursts in to flames how you gonna get out? doors are electric too? or does it have a separate emergency battery or 2, if not it should. for 60 thousand it should.
I would like to have one though, it is not the prettiest car but it is very nice, rugged sturdy futuristic
These will sell a billion time at least
Anyway the car was in the paper today, so it is coming
I been staring at the thumbnail for 20 minutes thinking and i think it looks amazing, it is just something you got to get used to, those ppl that put a deposit down are gonna be the lucky fist ones to own these, yes they will be iconic like the Testarossa and model T, with a fully beefed up Delorean look X100

There are plenty of cars with electric door releases, they all have a mechanical back up.
