Race can also be defined as a collective unified by a set of behaviours or habits.
We all have a "group" of people we can't stand and if thought through carefully is because of a pattern of behaviours that may be percieved as destructive or at least displeasing.
It is also very easy to feel superior to others because we don't conduct ourselves in ways we call unsavory. (A spectrum which can be bent and re examined alot.)
Voicing grievances about aggravating behaviour is not the same as persuading others to violence towards a group.
Even hate groups themselves are complicated. Some are extremely ignorant and violent.
Others are just lonely people that want community fried chicken on friday nights and a sense of belonging.
I feel if a serious accusation of racism is to be allocated to someone it's important to understand to what degree.
Typically in my experience accusations of racism have been built on logical leaps which are sneaky and nuanced to even the proponents.
Mistrust and criticism of a group does not mean hatred of a group.

As youv'e mentioned before, there is a difference between criticism and harrassment. All through out his journey as his ideas became more widespread, groups would disrupt his classes, harrass him on the street, and attempt to block his message.
