well. probably a few reasons. for one, they are meant to keep stuff in, not out. they aren't hermatically sealled. we don't use them instead of gas masks when combating nerve gas. doctors and nurses only wear them when theres a chance they might get a bit of spite on you. they then throw them away and get a new one for the next patient. you got people wearing the same masks all day. taking them off to eat, putting them back on, touching them throughout the day. but i'm no expert

She said all they do is make your face sweaty when there's data that proves that not to be the case. From the looks of her website she's no expert either but she's telling millions of people not to wear a mask. Seems irresponsible to me.

maybe you should have looked at her linkedin page or her actually website. she's got some abbreviated letters after her name. MPH. that means Master of Public Health. she's been in the medical field for over 20 years.
i'm curious about the percentage of people that got the virus that didnt wear masks vs the percentage of people that got the virus that wore masks. not enough to look into though

For nurses hanging around influenza patients it was found 17% not wearing masks contracted it compared to 5% with surgical masks & 4% with n95 masks.
I know what I asked, I'm the one who asked it. Your obsession with my comments is weird. So is refreshing the recent content to check for edited comments. Maybe you should curb your obsession.

Hi, My doctor said was it can be contaminated by eyes contacting virus, so wearing mask to stop for getting is pointless unless it is full suite. Mask is for sick to decrease the spread.
