I can hear it now: I was indeed passively sitting on the sand when the officer issued the citation, your honor, but this was right after walking to the water, splashing around a bit, and then walking back to my beach towel. I was just drying off. I swear. I'd like to submit as evidence a photo of the plush interior of my vehicle.

By law officers are giving out tickets for $880 to people in Ottawa apparently for not following the rules. A guy was rollerblading in a commercial parking lot and got a hefty fine. When I walk my dog I'm fine on the sidewalk but if I cut across the strip mall parking lot and my dog stops to take a shit I risk a hefty fine. The government's phased approach to restarting everything ends with a new normal. This should be interesting....

where i'm at. well a few weeks ago. any retail store, grocery store, corner store, anything retail that has counterspace, has to have a plexiglass type shield setup between staff and customers. cops were going around checking. one corner store got the 880$ fine, another guy in town running his own right wing "christian church" decided to have more than 5 people over for easter, he got the fine. but i guess Rebel News is willing to pay these fines people get.
