Li Kashing is a businessman from Hong Kong, not part of the CPC or some agent of Beijing. There's too much fast-paced spin to go over in that clip & nothing of substance.

in fact you're a bit shit out of luck because you either listen to western propaganda which is exclusively China Bad & includes a shitload of lies & spin, or you look at Chinese foreign propaganda which is exclusively China Good, with almost what amounts to lies of ommission at times.
all you can really do is process information yourself (if you can get it) and discard the spin & learn to verify information. It takes some effort & patience. Finding decent criticisms of the domestic sitation there is more a matter of knowing people who either live there or people with their finger on the pulse. Finding criticisms of their foreign policy is easier but you still have to look well beyond the likes of the above video & their foreign policy overall is actually quite good IMO. They don't really meddle in the internal affairs of foreign countries but they do seek influence, like all countries do. That's the job description of a diplomats, foreign liasons & often private businessmen will also seek it within a capitalist country like Canada because that's what you do.
This video implies that there's some nefarious scheme where the Chinese government is trying to buy influence in Canada's government. That's the message. Where is the evidence?

would you see this kind of clip about some Western country?
kicking off with shots of their military & delivering fast-paced innuendo about a sinister plot going on but without any sort of substance to it.... it's got a political agenda & is treating mostly regular activity as if it's bad just because it's involving PRC. It's not even pretending to be unbiased.
I'd go further & say that this clip is taking the assumption that there's a cold war going on between the West & China & that the political agenda of this clip is to prep the public for a "foreign interference" bill, one that enhances the ability of the spooks to discriminate against who they see as state enemies. Personally I don't think this is in Canada's interest because their spooks are too aligned with the likes of the US and it'd just make Canada more cucked, not less. Using the China Bad angle is just a convenient tool here I'd say. You can see where this kind of thing leads by looking at what's been going on in Australia. It's slipping further into US vassal status.
