Why is it 3 times more expensive to use different colour pigments?

Why would it cost 10,000? because some polititians got a few million from contractors i guess, they set the price and rip the hard working man off,... you should know what a street sign costs just a metal circle on a pole i believe it was 40 or 80

They are probably estimating the cost as the workers are salaried and the vehicles repair and maintenance is covered. My city used to to this when they tore down vacant houses, they bought the dozers and backhoes, had the DPW salaried guys tear down the houses and then they would get grant money from the Fed govt to cover the cost which they said was $40k a house. The paint colors is probably what cost so much though. Im sure the paint is expensive already but with unusual colors it hikes the price up.
