Canada Pension Plan Problems

Why Alberta says it's entitled to half of Canada's Pension Plan | About That

Alberta Premier says she wants to take her ball and go (to her land-locked) home.  Hold on. It's not that simple. Watch CBC's Andrew Chang and friend once again making math fun.

Interesting. How would they handle migrate workers future pension contributions/payout?

Looks like Quebec adds the worker to the Quebec pension plan so migrate workers could get QPP and CPP.

I know. It's a huge overreach by Alberta's Premier who is forgetting times of famine for the province in the past. She was guilty of trying to arrange back-room deals with Trump's team during the initial issue of the tariff threat and considered a weak point by other premiers in the whole provinces presenting a united front, approach.

To answer your question, today, it's easy enough to track most people's purchases and province of residence but good luck trying to reconstruct this information historically, for the last 40 or 50 years. Definitely not as clear cut as her estimate.

This is pure comedy, "trumpian math". We make it up as we go along to get the most out of it.

A pension fund is a social thing, similar to how funds are distributed within the EU where now countries (like hungary), that were nursed into prosperity by the EU, vote for anti EU governments because suddenly they have to contribute more than they receive and thus the EU is "bad". They simply do not realise that although it looks like they spend a lot in effect they profit more. Would they take the UK as an example of how this shit backfires? Of course not, they all suffer extreme delusion of grandeur.

I know, right?

In Alberta's case this either smacks of political immaturity on the Premier's part, or suggests as you say 'Trumpian math' and someone who's negotiating in poor faith. It's not gonna win anyone any friends is what I'm saying.

It is a mixture of all, I guess, and later, once they failed, they will blame others for their failure and the tards will eat it all up.

..and so the cycle continues.

The opposition should just put some Brits on that Brexit bus as a paid holiday and have them drive town to town in Alberta over the summer and explain how much better things are after the divorce.
