I disagree with his assessment of sympathy and empathy.
Sympathy is putting yourself in someone elses shoes and pitying them. Yet it does not provide any other value or solution to the other's circumstances.
Empathy is putting yourself in someones shoes without feeling sorry for them as well as being able to provide value and/or a solution to the other's circumstances.
His explaination of sociopathy is pretty well thought out though.
