Biden Admitting Bribing Ukraine

Here's the proof, Chris Cuomo; Biden admits bribing Ukrainian official

This is a repost but just a reminder because this is still being dragged out in the media as if it's a Trump scandal...

The prosecutor Biden pressured them to fire was leading a corruption case against a company that his son was on the board of. [more]

What does UkraineGate & RussiaGate have in common?

Both began with a top Democrat caught in a corruption scandal.

Even if Biden did something wrong: 2 wrongs don't make a right. You want to get at him for that you use proper procedure not blackmail nations to do shit for you. Trump has all the tools at hand to properly investigate Biden but decided on the shady -to say the least- approach..

That kind of conversation would no doubt happen all the time between high level officials. And yet the spooks released Trump's call into the public while nobody is investigating this bribery Biden is openly admitting to here... just seems like double standards. Seems like Trump's mistake was trying to do their job for them.

Compared the the Nuland phone call or Biden's comments here I'd say Trump's phone call isn't much at all.

Aaaah, context is a bitch. If what Biden has said would have any legal implications he would be investigated. Also Biden made his remarks in an open forum whilst recorded so probably there is nothing there, only the conspiracy theorists drooling over it.

And again: Trump has all the tools at hand to legally force this investigation, he decided to act shady. This started actually by witholding payments that were released by congress and did not even stop in involving his personal lawyer in government issues. Either the man is so incompetent or senile or dumb that he should be impeached or he is dirty and should be impeached.

I don't know all the details of the Trump situation, other than reading the transcript & seeing nothing really noteworthy from a layman's perspective. I think it's a real stretch to talk about impeachment from that alone & seeing no investigation of Biden's behaviour seems a lot like favouritism. None of this interests me a lot. I think the Dems are on the wrong path with this attack, just like RussiaGate. They should go after him for undermining the interest of US farmers with his tarrif war or something else of substance IMO. I'm just a casual observer tho..

Don't mean to nitpick but it sounds more like Blackmail than Bribery. While he was saying this the main stream media didn't know he son was on the board of corruption being investigated by this supposedly corrupt investigator.

Yeah I couldn't figure out if it was blackmail or bribery but since it's a loan guarantee from US to Ukraine which the US isn't legally obliged to give, I see it as a kind of a gift so thought it seemed closer to bribery. It's blatant foreign interference but apparently that only matters sometimes.
