Seals at Fisherman's Wharf in 2010 Victoria BC

Back when you could feed the seals. A fish market sold small baitfish and fish bits for people to feed to the seals, although sometimes seagulls swooped in and grabbed them. Fisherman's Warf in Victoria is located at: https://www.google.com/maps/@48.4227495,-123.3832876,97m/data=!3m1!1e3

Yeah, they were pretty well fed. By end of summer some got even bigger.

i've been wondering how big of a mind fuck it is to have another animal species give you food the same way we do to wild animals
