Nice video and the actor seems extremely sincere in his motivations. Makes you wonder if his agent lied to him during negotiations and asked for some outlandish amount of money.. to cover her coke habit (it was the 80's after all). It does make you feel for him given they used prosthetics built off of him for the original film for the replacement actor.

Well, for AI and deep fakes in movies surely the same rules apply. Otherwise one could just do Top Gun 2050 with a stunt man and deep fake.

But that's just it, do they. How to even begin policing the more nefarious side of things, eg. custom order interactive porn using a photo of a girl from your highschool yearbook let alone with a Hollywood leading lady, paid for (smaller scale ) using crypto on the dark web or whatever. And for sure you'll have kids that blew the family fortune digging up AI Steve McQueen or whoever for another go at the box office. I wouldn't say no to more Clint Eastwood (not dead) but you get what I mean. Hell, Charles Bronson as Wolverine would be cool.

I was oddly-specific in my example, wasn't I..heh. Given the available technology, I'm not so sure the young ones will be much inclined to use their imaginations like dad and grandad did. Here in Montreal, I've already seen young guys walking up to girls at bus stops, throwing their arm around a girl and asking for (and getting) a selfie just because they tell her she's so pretty. Daddy's little girl's face will be deepfaked onto some porn actrice's body by lunchtime. Kinda sad.
