
The plan to use the Sahara's solar potential to power Europe can't really go ahead because of the instability in the countries that would have to host the plants, but it makes sense for a similar plan for the Australian outback to power south-east Asia.

In Europe we have the panels on our roofs and Tesla batteries in the basement it is still quite expensive but it pays itself back in 10 years or so

Are the tesla batteries now available? Here in spain they still use led batteries.

Yes i know ppl who have had them for years, but couldent connect them, it was a whole law thing about being independent from the grid, but now the laws have changed in belgium, you probably need an installer to order and install it, but yes they are available cost 8 to 7 thousand and tesla keeps rising the price on their batteries, so there might be better cheaper alternatives
